Joan Teresa (Green) Blackburn

TROY - Joan T. (Green) Blackburn, 93, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 26, 2024 surrounded by loving family. Born in Schenectady, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late William Joseph Green and Cecilia Eva (Griesemer) Green. Joan was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, Gram, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. 

Joan is survived by her daughter, Karen (John) Slaving; son, Jeff (Donna) Blackburn; daughter, Betty (Donald) Simmons; son, Robert (Judy) Blackburn; daughter, Ally Blackburn; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Lynn Blackburn; daughter, Mary Monroe; grandson, Randy Monroe; granddaughter, Sarah Monroe.

Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be held in Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery in Kissimmee, Florida.
