Janet Breen

Troy - Janet Breen, 80, died Monday, March 3, 2025, at her sister’s home in Lansingburgh after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late William E. Breen, Sr. and Anna Mary Kelly Breen. She had resided in Troy and was a graduate of Troy Schools.

Janet was a self employed Certified Nurse Assistant.  She loved reading, looking at antiques.

Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Missenis Reed of Melrose; a sister, Barbara Kennedy; a brother, William E. (Peggy) Breen, Jr., Latham; 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Sandra A. Berg.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 7, 2025 at 10AM at St. Augustine's Church 25 115th Street Lansingburgh with Rev. Edward Kacerguis.

Interment will be in  St. John's Cemetery North Troy.
