Leesburg, FL - James (Jimmy) M. Campbell, 63 passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 after a long struggle with cancer. Jimmy will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Anne; his daughter, Christina (James) Rebhun. His pride and so much joy grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison, David and Delaney.
Survivors in addition to his wife, daughter and grandchildren include: his brother, Thomas (Fran) Campbell; his sisters, Susan (Gerald) Wait, Bonnie (Bob) Saceric and Linda Beaudoin (Daren Harrington); his mother-in-law, Joan Costello; his sister and brothers-in-law, Mary (Barry) Diehl, Lisa (Andy) Savaria, Joan (Steven) Schneider, Rina Soucy, Jean (Chuck) Rebhun, Barbara Campbell and Mike (Lorena) Costello and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his son, James Patrick (JP) Campbell; his brother, William (Bill) Campbell; his parents, Thomas and Bernice Campbell, and his brother-in-law, Wayne T. Soucy.
Jimmy was born on September 19, 1957 to Thomas and Bernice Campbell. He is a graduate of Tamarac High School. He married his soul mate Anne (Costello) Campbell on August 23, 1980 and they lived for many years in Wynantskill before retiring in 2015 to Leesburg, Florida.
Jimmy enjoyed traveling to Hampton Beach, NH every summer, taking cruises, classic car shows, camping, watching Westerns, candy (especially Jelly Bellys) and helping many family and friends when they needed it.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 3- 5 PM with a funeral service to follow at 5PM with Very Rev. Anthony Ligato, officiating. Face covering and social distancing are required inside during visitation and services.
