North Greenbush - Hilda G. Fryer,103, died Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at her residence after a brief illness.
Born in Berlin, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. Goodermote and Marcia Vincent Goodermote and wife of the late Carl F. Fryer for 65 years. She had resided in the Troy area most of her life and was a graduate of Berlin High School.
Hilda was employed in the accounts receivable department of Mohawk Paper Mill in Cohoes for over 40 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Pawling Avenue United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her 2 children, Dale T. (Paula) Fryer, Murrell's Inlet, SC and Cathy F. (John) Frank, Rome, NY; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Fryer; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, P. Todd Fryer and her sister, Elizabeth Reynolds and 3 brothers, Loyal, John Douglas and Dee Goodermote.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 10-11AM with a funeral service to follow with Rev. Paul Sweet, Pastor of Pawling Avenue United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
