Henry "Scott" Gerard Wilczynski

Averill Park – Henry “Scott” Gerard Wilczynski, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his home.

Born in Arcadia, CA, he was the beloved son of the late Henry “Hank” and Rita (Dombrowski) Wilczynski. Scott had made his home in Averill Park since 2013, after having grown up and lived most of his life in Southern California.

Throughout his life, Scott was known for his generosity, kindness, and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone who asked. Although his primary profession was electrician, he excelled in many other construction trades, working for employers or for friends and family. He loved working with his hands and his craftsmanship and dedication to excellence were evident in everything he did.

Scott is survived by his daughters Jennifer Greeno (husband Craig Greeno) and Dana Wilczynski; their mother, Cheryl Conti; his cherished grandchildren, William and Ariana Genczo, and Max Conti; his longtime companion and best friend, Judith Farone; and his loving sisters, Alexis Porter (husband Craig Porter), Cynthia Rogers (husband Dean Rogers), and Barbara Nuismer.

In death, Scott is reunited with both of his parents and his sister, Patricia Wilczynski.

His loyalty, friendship, sense of humor and positive, upbeat personality will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
