Harutyun Smsaryan

Colonie - Harutyun Smsaryan, 66, died Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at his residence.

Born in Armenia, he was son of the late Khachig Smsaryan and Artsevig Sarkissyan Smsaryan and husband of Yeranuhi  Atimizyan Smsaryan. He came to Troy in 2011 and resided in Colonie for the past 9 years. 

Harutyun was employed at S&G Trucking for 8 years as a mechanic.    

Survivors in addition to his wife include three daughters, Lusine (Steve) Karageozian, Mariene (Khachig) Aloyan and Artsevig Smsaryan; 6 grandchildren; 5 brothers and 2 sisters and several nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends may call at the Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church 255 Spring Avenue Troy on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 4-7PM. 

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10AM at the church. Face covering and social distancing are required if not vaccinated.

Interment will be in  Albany Rural Cemetery Menands.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Holy Cross Armenian Apostolic Church 255 Spring Avenue Troy, NY 12180.
