Glenn A. Young, Jr.

Troy - Glenn A. Young, Jr., 47, of 8th Avenue Lansingburgh died suddenly Saturday, November 27, 2021, after being stricken at his residence.

Born in Albany, he was the son of Rick and Randi Palmer, Berlin. He was raised in Berlin, resided in Troy and Albany for most of his life and was a graduate of Berlin High School. 

Glenn was employed in the information technology field for 30 years

He enjoyed cooking and posting pictures of his food on Facebook, training German Shepherds and “cabining”, especially at Little Bowman in Taborton.    

Survivors in addition to his parents include a sister, Tamara (Damon) Dzembo, Brunswick and several aunts, nieces and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved German Shepherd, Bowman.  He was predeceased by his grandparents and uncles.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 4-7 PM with a funeral service at 7PM with Rev. Dr. Patricia A. Bush, officiating. Face covering and social distancing are required if not vaccinated.
