Gail (Bonesteel) Teal

North Greenbush - Gail Bonesteel Teal, 82, died Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Lester Bonesteel and Beatrice Vanderpool Bonesteel and wife of the late Howard M. Teal. She had resided in the Troy area all her life and was a 1956 graduate of Troy High School. 

Gail was a purchasing agent for Samaritan Hospital in Troy for 31 years, retiring 20 years ago.

She was a member and former President of the purchasing group for hospitals in Troy and Albany and a member of the HiWay Recreation Bowling League.    

Survivors include two children, Taryn L. Duncan, Sand Lake and Craig  M. (Debbie) Duncan, Nassau; a granddaughter, Tyler A. Duncan; a great granddaughters, Mia and Ensley and several nieces and nephews including Donald M. (Jan) Christensen. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald W. Bonesteel.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 4-7PM. 

Funeral service will be held Friday at 10AM at the funeral home. Face covering and social distancing are required both outside and inside during visitation and services.

Interment will be in  Memory Gardens Colonie.
