Gail Lundquist Obituary

Troy - Gail C. Lundquist, 68, of Spring Avenue died Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Samaritan Hospital  after struggling with health issues for years.

Born and raised in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Henry E. Lundquist and Elizabeth  Dibert Lundquist.

Gail was a contact lense assistant at Troy Eye Associates for several years.

She enjoyed reading, especially romance novels, and watching the Food Network and HGTV. Gail loved creating extravagant Christmas lights and decorations. She lived for her family and home and had the most generous heart to those she held dear. One of her greatest joys was planning and rebuilding her home and restoring old family photos.

Survivors include her siblings, Gunnar N. Lundquist, Troy and  Karen A. (John) Peterson, North Greenbush; her nieces, Tory  and Amy Peterson; her aunts,  Eleanore Chiger and Adele Lundquist; and many wonderful cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Jon Lundquist.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in  Oakwood Cemetery Troy.

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Samaritan Hospital and Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital for their loving and attentive care during her final days.
