Averill Park, NY - Mr. Francis Xavier Aloisio, age 82, husband of Mary-Ann (Pribis) Aloisio, passed away on Sunday morning, October 17, 2021.

He was born February 28, 1939 in Herkimer NY, son of Frank and Josephine (Munson) Aloisio. A 1957 graduate of Herkimer High School, Fran served in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserves from 1957-1963. Fran worked for Western Electric, Niagara-Mohawk, and National Grid, retiring in 1994. An avid car enthusiast throughout his life, he operated Fran’s Auto Sales, a used car business for over 30 years.

Fran is survived by his wife Mary-Ann and two daughters, Linda of New Hartford, NY and Laura of Stephentown, NY, four grandchildren Jacqueline M. Fake, Little Falls NY, Karlton Fake, NWS Charleston Navy Base in Goose Creek SC, Sage and Blake Rogers, Stephentown, NY, an aunt Ethel Munson, Peachtree City, GA, an uncle Carroll Munson Beaufort, SC, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Fran was predeceased by his parents, twin brothers Louis and Peter Aloisio and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Herkimer County Humane Society or the Gary Sinise Foundation.
