Felice A. Mirco

Felice A. Mirco, 93 years old, passed away at his home, Sunday, July 25, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.  Felice, born in Troy, NY, was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine Mirco and was the beloved husband of Mary G. Daniels, Mirco (happily married for 64+ years). He was raised in Acquaviva Collecroce, Italy and returned to Troy in 1950. He was a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College and SUNY Albany for his accounting degree.

Felice was employed at Sterling Winthrop for 15 years, retiring 1994 and previously was a machinist for Norton Company for 30 years.  After his retirement, he worked for NYS Taxation and Finance during tax seasons.  

Felice was a veteran of the Korean War, who proudly served in the United States Army.  Felice will always be remembered for his courage, strength and love. He was a loving husband, devoted father/grandfather and his greatest joy was being an active part of his family’s life. Felice enjoyed music, dancing, watching tennis and boxing and had a love for animals.  

Survivors in addition to his wife include his four children, Joseph (Donna) Mirco, Ballston Spa, Barbara (Glen) Bywater, East Greenbush, Elyse (James) Adinolfi, Ballston Spa and Anthony (Terry Church) Mirco, Colonie; two grandchildren, Eric (Sarah Clark) Bywater and Courtney Bywater (Craig) VanDyk; a sister, Elles Mirco, Italy and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 4-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 10 AM at the funeral home and at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Yanas, Pastor.  Face covering and social distancing are required if not vaccinated.

Interment will be in  St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
