Evelyn Edith (Teal) Myott

Poestenkill - Evelyn Edith Myott, 85, died Tuesday, September 14, 2021at Albany Medical Center.

Born in Troy,  she was daughter of the late  Ervin Teal and Helen (Gerholt) Teal and wife of the late Richard A. Myott. Evelyn was raised in Alps and had resided in Poestenkill since she was 18 years old.

Evelyn loved gardening, cleaning and spending time with her family.   

Survivors include her 3 children, Linda (Timothy) Brod, Poestenkill, Richard (Michelle) Myott, Williamsburg, VA, and James (Jackie) Myott, Poestenkill; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Beverly Stocholm and John Teal. She was predeceased by her siblings Ester, Elsie,  Ervin, Edith, Alberta, and Judith.

Relatives and friends are invited to a casual gathering at Linda Brod's home in Poestenkill on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 1-4PM. If you have questions, please reach out to the family.

Interment will be in  Hillside Cemetery Poestenkill.
