Emma M. (Lindeman) Timber

West Sand Lake - Emma M. Lindeman Timber, 93, formerly of Taborton died Tuesday, August 10, 2021, after a brief illness.

Born in Taborton, she was daughter of the late Norman J. Lindeman and Julia F. Schreiner Lindeman and wife of the late Ralph W. Timber. She was a graduate of Troy High School and resided most of her life in Taborton. 

Emma was a self employed beautician and then a homemaker when she started a family.  

She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, the Rensselaer County Home Bureau and Sand Lake Seniors where she particularly enjoyed going on trips.    

Survivors include two daughters, Christine J. Timber, Esq. and Priscilla (Richard)  Smith; a son, Ralph F. (Nancy) Timber; her siblings, Helen A. Momrow and Judy A. (Ray) Lindeman Cousins; her grandchildren, Robert, Charlotte and John Wolff, Lauren and Kyle Smith and Colin Timber; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son,  David N. Timber; a granddaughter, Alyse Timber and her siblings, Elmer Lindeman, Marion Lindeman and Norman Lindeman.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  4392NY150, West Sand Lake on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 10-11 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11AM with Rev. Hafidha Saadiqah, officiating.   The service will be Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/brycefuneralhomeinc.   Face covering and social distancing are required if not vaccinated.
