Elizabeth J. Teeling (Guida) Wait

Wynantskill - Elizabeth J. Guida Teeling Wait, 83, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at here residence after a  brief illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Frank Guida and Alice Sakino Guida and wife of the late John W. Teeling and Leon E. Wait. She had resided in the Troy and Wynantskill areas most of her life and was a graduate of Troy High School. 

Betty was Manager of the Post Exchange at the Watervliet Arsenal for 20 years retiring in the early 90's.  

She was a member of The Columbiettes K of C, Sand Lake and Troy Senior Citizens and loved animals and going on trips and traveling to casinos.    

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah (Paul) Malette, Waterford; a son, John Teeling, West Sand Lake; several loving stepchildren of the Wait family; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Steven (Lee) Malette; a sister, Rosemary (Frank) Reid, Rome, NY and several nieces and nephews.   She was predeceased by a sister, Frances French.   

Relatives and friends may call at the St. Jude the Apostle Church  43 Brookside Avenue Wynantskill on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 1-2PM with a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2PM.  Face covering and social distancing are required both outside and inside during visitation and services.

Interment will be in  St. Joseph's Cemetery Troy.
