Latham - Edward Tutunjian, 93, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Edward was born in Troy, NY to the late Mary and Charles Tutunjian. Edward is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Adrina Boyajian Tutunjian.
Edward is also survived by his children Dina Carroll of Rotterdam, Brenda (Jeffrey) Roberts of Latham, and son-in-law Yves Ballmer of Switzerland. He is pre-deceased by his daughter Lisa Ballmer and son-in-law Brian Carroll.
His family includes nine grandchildren, Max (Maud) Ballmer, Alex (Valentine) Ballmer, Sam (Diane) Ballmer, Ann (Michael) Nucci, Mary (Jake) Clarke, Sara (Matthew) Schwenzfeier, Jill (Nick)Voss, Kate (Nick) Feinman, and Lynn Roberts; as well as his nine great grandchildren, Louis and Charlotte Ballmer, Juliette and Lucie Ballmer, Helios Ballmer, Michael and Olivia Nucci, Ella Schwenzfeier and Hadley Voss. Edward is also survived by his sister Ann (late Alfred) Serian and several nieces and nephew. Ed's late cousins Marge and Alex Ishkanian as well as their surviving family members, all held very special places in his heart.
Ed was a veteran of the Korean War stationed in Germany with a rank of Staff Sergeant and worked as a printer for the Troy Record Newspaper for 32 years, retiring in 1993.
Family, friends and neighbors were Ed's world. There were many who predeceased him and he greatly missed each and every one of them. We offer our heartfelt thank you to the very caring staff at Eddy Village Green, Bldg. 6, for their love, kindness and support. Ed always considered you part of the family.
At Ed’s request, a private service will be held at Albany Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Peter Armenian Church, 100 Troy-Schenectady Road, PO Box 196, Watervliet, NY 12189-0196 in memory of Edward Tutunjian.
