Donna J. (Dickinson) Sager

Averill Park - Donna Dickinson Sager, 64, of Swankey Road died Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at her residence after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of  Madaline Spinner Patanian and the late Donald Dickinson, step daughter of Edward Patanian, Sr. and wife for 36 years of Timothy A.  Sager. She had resided in the West Sand Lake and Averill Park areas most of her life and was a graduate of Averill Park High School class of 73 and Mildred Elley for her paralegal degree. 

Donna was employed as an engineer’s assistant for Servidone Construction in Castleton for a few years and prior to that worked as a paralegal.

Donna enjoyed sewing, painting, quilting and 4-wheeling.    

Survivors in addition to her husband, Timothy, mother, Madaline, and step father Edward, include her son, Jason A.  (Rebecca Bentley) Sager, Averill Park; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Apfel and Mason and Emma Sager, her brothers, Richard (Pandora) Dickinson, Maine, William (Connie) Dickinson, South Carolina, Larry Dickinson, West Sand Lake,  Jeff Patanian, West Sand Lake, Edward Patanian, Jr. Averill Park; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Debbie Knott.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  4392 Route 150, West Sand Lake on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 4-7PM.  Face covering and social distancing are required at all times both outside and inside during visitation and a limit of 35 visitors at one time will be allowed.
