Averill Park - Donna Lynn Reed, 86, died Sunday, March 30, 2025, at her residence after a brief illness.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she was daughter of the late Robert Reed and Eldeva Meeder Reed. She had resided in Altamont and the past 55 years in Averill Park and was a1956 graduate of Guilderland High School and earned her nursing degree from Samaritan School of Nursing in 1959.

Donna was a Registered Nurse for Eddy Heritage House and Samaritan Hospital retiring in 2000. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in West Sand Lake.

Survivors include her best friend, Judith Morlock, Averill Park and her nieces Eldeva Tofte, Leah (Cliff) Tofte-Dorr, Melissa (Cliff) Rabuffo and Laura Tofte; a nephew, Robert Tofte and several great nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a siser, Eldeva Tofte

Funeral service will be held at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392NY150 West Sand Lake on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 12:30PM with Rev. Kristi VanPatten, Pastor of Salem United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Colonie.
