Troy - Donna M. Deeb, 71, died unexpectedly Friday, February 19, 2021, at St. Peter's Hospital.
Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Theodore Vincent Deeb and Ellen Anne Pusatere Deeb. She was raised in North Greenbush and resided in Albany for 30 years before returning to North Greenbush upon retirement. Donna was a graduate of St. Jude's School, Catholic Central High School and earned her Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
Upon graduating college, Donna dove into the world of finance. She was proud to be one of the first female stockbrokers. She worked at McGinn, Smith and Company and Paine Webber, before earning her role as Vice President at Wells Fargo Advisors. Donna was also an owner of her family business, Ted’s Fish Fry which she took great pride in.
When Donna wasn’t working, she loved to host dinner parties, play racquetball, travel with friends and go to concerts at Tanglewood. She was a devoted NY Yankees fan and watched every game, sometimes twice. She also loved to visit her family, the Reggies, in Louisiana, and spend her winters in Pompano Beach, FL. She was a communicant of St. Ann's Maronite Parish in Watervliet and a member of Proctors in Schenectady.
Survivors include her brother, S.K. Deeb, Troy; three nephews, Ted (Autumn) Deeb, Watervliet, Bill Deeb, Troy and Shaun (Ashley) Deeb, Wynantskill; a niece, Deanna (Dan) DeBonis, North Greenbush and her grand nieces and nephews, Evan, Chance and Sophia Deeb and Serena DeBonis.
Her love for family was undeniable and she proved to be the most fun & greatest aunt. She was an amazing daughter, sister, cousin, and friend to all. A special thanks to Donna’s friends, Sharon, Nikki and Velma who have shown tremendous love and support these past few years.
