Dominic "Tony" Anthony Nowakowski

Clifton Park - Dominic A. “Tony”  Nowakowski, 72, of Boyack Road died unexpectedly Wednesday,  June 19, 2024, at Shaker Place Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Colonie.

Born in Bennington, VT, while his mom was there to shop, he was son of the late Adam S. Nowakowski and Jane M. Salvi Nowakowski. He was raised in Troy and lived in Clifton Park since 1979. 

Tony was an avid reader of non-fiction books but his happiest times were as an entertainer. He played bass guitar, but it was being on stage that made him shine.    

Survivors include two brother, Robert J. Nowakowski and Paul S. (Connie) Nowakowski and a sister,  Nancy Nowakowski, all of Clifton Park.

A graveside service will be private at the convenience of the family at St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
