David Stevens, Sr. Obituary

Averill Park - David B. Stevens, Sr., 64, died Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at The Joan Nicole Prince Home in Scotia, NY after a brief illness.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Harold James Stevens and Frances A. Ackerson Stevens and husband of Francis P. Lake, Jr. He was raised in Niagara Falls, lived in York, PA for 40 years, New Haven, CT from 2012-2023 until moving to Averill Park in 2023.

David was a File Maker Developer for AccuStandard, Inc. in New Haven, CT for 13 years.  

He was a computer hardware and network geek; he loved having the latest and greatest computers and gadgets. David loved his work at Accustandard and considered them as his extended family. He also enjoyed traveling, camping, farming, the love of new cars and bike riding.    

Survivors in addition to his husband Frank, include his 2 children, David Stevens, Jr., Windsor, PA and Ashley Stevens, Averill Park; his 4 grandchildren, Isabella "Izzy" Stevens, Abigail "Abby" Stevens, Sterling Stevens, Layla Stevens; and his sister, Brenda Stevens, Averill Park.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392NY150 West Sand Lake, NY 12196 on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 4 - 7PM.  

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 10AM at the FUNERAL HOME.

Interment will be in St. Henry's Cemetery in Averill Park.
