David William Kennedy

Averill Park - David W. Kennedy, 72, died Monday, January 02, 2023, at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Donald J. Kennedy and Gretchen  Karl Kennedy and husband of Susan J. Gardner Kennedy. David resided Wynantskill and Averill Park most of his life.

He was a truck driver and service technician for Hastings and Company, Inc in Troy for most of his life, but recently he was a truck driver for Callanan Industries, Inc.   

He was a member of the Teamsters Local 294. Dave served in the US Army from 1967-1970.

Survivors in addition to his wife, Susan, include his 2 children, David W. (Gretchen) Kennedy, VA and Michelle (Alonso) Lopez, VA; 2 step children, Donna (Diana) Reinhart, Waterford and  Donald (Miho) Reinhart, Japan; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his siblings, Donna (Thomas) Lauricella, FL and Scott M. (Susan)  Kennedy, Wynantskill and several nieces and nephews.

All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
