David Matthew Bassett

Troy - David Matthew Bassett, 60, died Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Jane Ann Bassett and husband of the late Marsha Bassett.

David was a computer operator for the NYS Office of Technology for 7 years retiring  in 2008.  

He enjoyed role playing games.

Survivors include his sister, Patricia Allen and his brother, Bruce R. Bassett.

At David's request, there will be NO SERVICES.
