Claire Ann (Simmons) Krieck

Wynantskill - Claire Ann Krieck, 72, died Thursday, September 25, 2025, at her residence after a long illness with Alzheimer’s and most recently a stroke.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Russell Simmons and Amelia W. Schickling Simmons and husband of the late Martin Krieck, Jr. She has resided in Wynantskill NY since 1982 but was always a Jersey shore girl at heart.

Claire has always worked with kids either as a preschool teacher or as the cook. She loved working with kids with all her heart!

Survivors include her children, Katherine Mary (Steven) Yando, Troy, Martin W. (Angela) Krieck III, Wynantskill and Laura A. (Richard) Campbell, Troy; her brothers, Robert J. (Patricia) Simmons and Russell E. Simmons Jr. She was the loving Grammy to her 7 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392NY150 West Sand Lake on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 1 PM - 2 PM with a service to follow at 2PM with Rev. David Cramer, officiating.

She will be laid to rest at St. Henry’s Cemetery with her husband.
