Christopher Scott Burt

Latham - Christopher Scott Burt, 56, died Friday, June 16, 2023, at Albany Medical Center Hospital.

Born in Troy, he was son of James V. Burt, Sr. and the late Diane Bashford Burt. He had resided in Wynantskill and Albany all his life and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and attended Austin Beauty School. 

Chris was a cosmetologist for several years most recently at Hair Studio One in Glenmont. He loved animals.    

Survivors in addition to his father include a brother, James V. Burt, Jr.; a niece, Alexandra Rockwell; several aunts and uncles and many friends. 

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 11AM - 2 PM with a service at 2 PM with Rev. Edward  Kacerguis, officiating.
