Charles Miorin Obituary

Wynantskill - Charles ‘Chuck’ J. Miorin, 76, crossed over Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Samaritan Hospital.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late John Miorin and Shirley Alber Miorin and husband of Kathleen Miorin and the late Sylvia A. Miorin. He had resided in Wynantskill most of his life, was a graduate of St. John's Academy in Rensselaer. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Green Island. He later earned an Associate's degree in Accounting from Hudson Valley Community College.   

He was a member and former President of the Kiwanis Club of Wynantskill, a Democratic Committeeman for the Town of North Greenbush and held several other positions, a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church. He enjoyed his grandchildren’s sporting events and was a driver for many team events.    

Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Yvonne (Tony) Huneau, Troy; two grandchildren, Anna and Dominic Huneau; his siblings, Jack (Pat) Miorin, Carol Nichols, Mary Ellen (Dan) Brennan and Michael Miorin and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by two sisters, Pat Vignant and Linda Hyde.

A private, family only visitation will be held Friday, November11, 2022 from 2-3PM at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc, 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with a private graveside service immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery Wynantskill.  

A special thank you to the Van Rensselaer Manor for their loving care during his stay.  You will all be missed.
