Carole M. (Austin) Stilson

Carole M. Stilson, age 85, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023. She was born November 1, 1937 in Troy, NY to the late Carlton and Mary Austin. In addition to her  parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Stilson and several other family and friends.

Carole was a cafeteria manager for Gardner-Dickinson School in Wynantskill for many years. After retirement, she moved to Florida where she enjoyed being out in the sun and living the best life she could.

She loved camping, playing bingo, doing puzzles and spending time with her friends. She also dearly loved animals, both cats and dogs alike.

She is survived by her son, Eric C. Stilson of Florida and several nieces, nephews, and close friends.

The family requests your presence at Evergreen Cemetery Main Avenue in Wynantskill for a graveside service on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 11:00 am.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Bryce Funeral Home in Troy. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the ASPCA.
