Duncansville, PA - Carol Jean Milos, 76, died Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Celebration Villa of Altoona Duncansville, PA after a long illness.
Born in Troy, New York, she was daughter of the late John Milos and Florence E. Welter Milos. She was raised in Troy and resided in Pennsylvania for 18 years. She was educated in Troy schools.
Carol was employed at Northeastern Career Planning in Menands for 26 years. She was a longtime member of the former First Baptist Church in Troy. She had a great love of animals and a talent for completing even the most difficult puzzles, doing word searches, and coloring.
Survivors include her sister, Mary (late Brian) Amato, Hollidaysburg, PA and her nieces, Amy Klonsky and Barbara Amato, Hollidaysburg, PA. She will be greatly missed by her great-nieces, Izzy Klonsky and Eva Gerrity, and great-nephews Alex Klonsky and Wyatt Gerrity, as well as cousins Linda Milos and her family; Mark Sleicher and his family; Robin McCloskey and her family; Nancy Consolo and her family, and Terry Langlois and her family.
A graveside service will be held later at the family plot in Oakwood Cemetery Troy. Details will be announced later.
