Carol Ann (Seibert) Light

Clifton Park - Carol Ann Light, 77, died Thursday, January 19, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Warren Seibert Sr. and Rose  Cook Seibert and wife of Joseph P.  Light, Sr. Raised and resided in Troy for 53 years and moved to Clifton Park in 2001. She was a graduate of Troy High School. 

Carol was a transporter for the x-ray department of St. Mary's Hospital for 29 years, retiring 15 years ago. 

Carol enjoyed camping and family dinners. She loved animals and going to the casino.    

Survivors in addition to her husband, Joe,  include her children, Joseph P. (Mary) Light, Jr., Waterford, Kimberly Ann Light, Troy, Kevin Michael (Michelle) Light, Spotsylvania, VA, and Jeffrey Robert (Karen) Light, Stillwater; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; her brother, Warren (Donna) Seibert, Jr., Troy; and 2 nephews and several cousins.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Monday, January 23,2023 from 4 - 7PM with a service to follow at 7PM  with Rev. John Yanas, Pastor of Sacred Heart Church, officiating. 

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11AM at  St. Nicholas Ukranian Cemetery (on the corner of Vandenburgh Ave and North Drive in Troy).
