Brunswick - Carol M. Anselment Duncan, 75, of Liberty Road died Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center after a long illness, with her loving family.
Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Charles Anselment and Ethel Crooks Anselment and wife for 56 years of William C. Duncan. She had resided in the Troy and Brunswick areas all her life and was a 1960 graduate of Troy High School and took additional courses at Maria College.
Carol was an auditor for the New York State Department of Audit and Control for 30 years, retiring in 2007.
She loved dancing, bowling and was a member of the Troy Boat Club and Trinity Episcopal Church.
Survivors in addition to her husband include a son, William C. Duncan, Jr., Schaghticoke; a daughter, Stacey (Todd) Matala, Valley Falls; a brother, Donald (Sharon) Anselment, Nassau; a sister, Beverly Safford, Taborton; her grandchildren, Cassondra, Anthony, Dominique and Jennifer Duncan and Ryan and Brooke Matala and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sheri A. Duncan and a brother, Edward Anselment.
Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 4-7 PM.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Desmond Francis, officiating.
Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.
