Carol Ann (Oligny) Audette

Walpole, MA - Carol Ann Audette (née Oligny), 81, passed away on August 30, 2024. Born in Hudson Falls, she was the daughter of the late Elie and Clara Oligny and wife of the late Edmund J. Audette. She spent her early life in Hudson Falls, graduating from St. Mary’s Academy. She moved to Troy in 1968 with her young family.

Carol dedicated many years to her career as a dental hygienist, bringing kindness and care to her patients until her retirement in 2008.

Carol will be fondly remembered as a talented baker, most famous for her Christmas cookies. She found joy in learning and perfecting many crafts, including jewelry making, scrapbooking, stamping, and knitting. She also loved traveling to North Myrtle Beach with her sister, brothers, and family; as well as playing cards with dear friends. Carol was active in multiple ministries as a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales and Our Lady of Victory.

She is survived by her sons, Marc Audette (Colleen Fitzpatrick) and Daniel Audette; granddaughters, Jessica Bannan (Phil), Randi-Leigh Audette, Danielle Audette (Matthew Bono), and Mya Audette; and great-granddaughter, Margaret Bono. Carol was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Audette and her loving companion, Richard Purcell.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 12:15 PM at Our Lady of Victory Church 55 North Lake Avenue Troy. 

Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Hudson Falls.
