Betty Louise (Dew) Maguffin

East Greenbush - Betty Louise Dew Maguffin, 72, died Monday, September 1, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Jacksonville, FL, she was daughter of the late Henry Dew and Vastie Coleman and wife of the late Anthony J. Maguffin, Sr. She was raised in Brooklyn and resided many years in Port Jefferson Station, Long Island and the past 8 years in East Greenbush.

Betty was a claims specialist for the Internal Revenue Service in Holtsville, NY for 20 years retiring many years ago.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Kneski, Newtown, CT; two sons, Anthony J. Maguffin, Jr., Merritt Island, FL and David (Helena) Maguffin, West Sand Lake; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Skylar and Jake Kneski and Isabella, Lyla, Merik and Rowan Maguffin and a sister, Vickie DeVoe, Florida. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Andrea Maguffin; her sister, Katherine Costanza and her brother, William Dew.

Relatives and friends, wishing to attend, are invited to gather at the main entrance of Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Duell Road Schuylerville by 10:15AM on Friday, September 5, 2025 for a funeral service.
