Boca Raton, FL - Anne Carmen DelGiacco Yamin, 93, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, December 18, 2023 while at home and surrounded by family.

Born in Troy, NY, Anne was a steadfast mother and grandmother, a loving sister, a community leader and a compassionate friend. She was the daughter of the late Michele DelGiacco and Pasqualina  D'Alessio DelGiacco, both of the Province of Avellino, Italy and the devoted wife of 56 years to the late Daniel J. Yamin, Sr.

Upon graduating from Troy High School, Anne worked for the State of New York before marrying and starting her family. She and her husband, Dan, co-owned the Star Supermarket in East Greenbush for many years. Upon selling the business, Anne returned to work for the State of New York as an Insurance Specialist for the Department of Motor Vehicles until she retired in 1993.

Anne and her family moved to Brainard, NY in 1968 where she quickly took on an active role in the New Lebanon School District as an advocate and volunteer. While serving on the PTA, she led a state-wide initiative petitioning the school board to secure services for disabled children. Anne also co-founded a non-profit bookstore for students in order to fund arts and music programs in the elementary school. As an active member in the Catholic Charismatic movement and, later, in various community churches, she and Dan opened their home for weekly prayer meetings and Bible studies. Most recently, Anne continued contributing to her community by volunteering with Joseph's House and Shelter and the American Red Cross.

Anne's hobbies included cooking, traveling, crafts, gardening, and games and she was an avid reader. She prioritized spending time with family and friends and she passed on to her children and grandchildren her values of a strong work ethic, a thoughtful and charitable disposition, and a commitment to caring for those in need - attributes that were a direct reflection of her relationship with Christ.

Survivors include her children, Michele (Gene) Kohrs, Nassau, Daniel J. (Jo-Leigh) Yamin Jr., Troy, MaryBeth 'Beth' (Thomas) Lampron, Watervliet, Paul E. Yamin, Glenville, Anne Philippi, Troy, and Darien J. (Scott Adler)  Yamin, Boca Raton, FL; her grandchildren, Sarah, Nathan (Molly), and Rachel Kohrs, Danielle (Jose) Serrano, Ryan (Rosa) and Matthew (Quincy) Yamin, Taylor (Whitney) and Blake (Caitlin) Philippi, and Gabriella Lampron; her great grandchildren, Evelyn Rae and  Calvin Alexander Philippi, Micah Roman Yamin, Charlotte Jacquelyn Yamin and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by siblings, Marie (Peter) DePaoli, Antoinette (Ronald) Swingle, Virginia (Walter) Archambeault, Lorraine (Gerald) LeFleur, Albert (Carolyn) DelGiacco and Anthony (Patricia) DelGiacco.
