Ann M. (Timber) Scheilding

Troy - Ann Timber Scheilding, 94, formerly of  Federal Street died Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Van Rensselaer Manor after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late George J. Timber Sr. and Kathryn  Hart Timber. She had resided in Selkirk for 5 years and Ravena 4 years before moving to Troy and attended Averill Park schools. 

Ann was employed in the Emma Willard Kitchen from 1976-88 and prior to that she worked in nursing at Eden Park Nursing Home for 6 years.  

She was a member of Church of Christ in Troy and loved to read.    

Survivors include a step brother, Kenneth Scheilding, East Greenbush;  a grandson,  Jason Scheilding, Troy; great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her son, Steven Scheilding; her step mother, Anna E. Timber and her siblings, George J. Timber Jr., Ruth Peckham and Kathleen E. Timber.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc.  on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 9-11AM with a funeral service at 11AM with Pastor Kerry Morris.  Face covering and social distancing are required both outside and inside during visitation and services.

Interment will be in  Blooming Grove Cemetery Defreestville.
