Angela C. (Vumbaco) White

Troy - Angela C. Vumbaco White, 90, of Excelsior Avenue died Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Samaritan Hospital after a brief  illness.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Frank Vumbaco and Mary Catrona Vumbaco and wife of the late Robert L. White. She had resided in Troy all her life and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School.

Mrs. White was a seamstress for Cluett, Peabody & Company for many years and dedicated her life to her family, her many children and grandchildren.  Angela had a great love of music and enjoyed singing and playing the piano and organ.

She was a member of the Troy and Wynantskill Senior Centers and enjoyed arts and crafts, knitting and playing bingo with friends.  She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.    

Survivors include her children, Robert A. White, Wyoming, Christine (Michael) Filuta, SC, Frank (Davida) White, Poestenkill, Paul (Lois) White, PA, Wendy (Fred) Braunstein, Melrose, Connie (Joe)  Schreiner, Colonie, Patrick White, Troy, Joseph (Michael Petrille) White, Loudonville, David (Angie) White, Brunswick and Michael (Kim) White, Loudonville; three brothers, Anthony, Rocco Vumbaco, Troy and Paul Vumbaco, FL, a sister, Ceil Busone, FL, 28 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her daughter, Catherine (Richard) Zalucky and two sons, John and Gary White, Troy and her siblings, Rose Murrisky, Teresa DelVecchio, Carmie Dooley and Joe and Frank Vumbaco.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 5-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30 at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Yanas, Pastor. Face covering and social distancing are required both outside and inside during visitation and services.

Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
