Schodack - Alice Finnigan, 82, died suddenly Monday, February 23, 2026, at her residence.
Born in Brooklyn, she was daughter of the late Joseph N. Knott and Emma Becker Knott, and wife of the late George J. Finnigan. She had resided in Brooklyn for 30 years and the Albany and West Sand Lake areas for many years. She graduated with honors from Bay Ridge High School in Brooklyn class of 1961.
Alice was an accounting clerk for Hart's Fuel Service in West Sand Lake for five years, retiring in 2008 and prior to that worked at Northstar Express in Albany and Troy Mattress in Menands for 15 years in the same capacity.
She was a communicant of St. Henry's Church in Averill Park.
Survivors include a brother, Robert Knott of Staten Island. and cousins, Helga, Katherine and Linda Kovich (Hill). She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Knott.
Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 NY 150, West Sand Lake on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10-11 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11AM with Rev. John Close, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Henry’s Cemetery.
