Winifred Eisenhut Bagnell, 91

West Sand Lake - Winifred Eisenhut Bagnell, 91, of Route 150 died Thursday, April 30, 2009, at St. Peter's Hospice Inn Albany after a brief illness.

Born in Brooklyn, she was daughter of the late Charles Eisenhut and Irene Belford Eisenhut and wife of the late James C. Bagnell. She was raised in Brooklyn and resided there until 1939 and was a graduate of Brooklyn High School. She later resided in Bellmore, and Copiague until 1990 and came to the West Sand Lake area.

Mrs. Bagnell was a customer service department manager for Abraham & Straus in West Babylon, LI, retiring in 1976.

She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill and its Rosary Altar Society.

Survivors include two sons, J. Christopher Bagnell of Wheatley Heights LI and Kenneth R. Bagnell of West Sand Lake; two grandchildren, James C.'Kit' Bagnell III of Torrance, CA and Kathleen Kerker of Castle Rock, CO and four great grandchildren, Emily Ann and Kelly Jo Bagnell and Allison Marie and Thomas Christopher Kerker. She was predeceased by a sister, Veronica Karlson.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 9 AM at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 4392 Route 150, West Sand Lake and at 9:30 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church Wynantskill where where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Salvatore Rodino, Pastor.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4- 7 PM.

Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn .
