William 'Russell' Speanburg, III

Petersburgh - William 'Russell' Speanburg III, 42, of Varville Road died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 6, 2017.

Born in Tampa, FL, he was son of  Donna C. (LaPort) Carroll and her husband John F. Carroll of Petersburgh and son of William Russell Speanburg II.  Russell lived in downtown Troy for 8 years prior to moving to Petersburgh where he has resided for the past 3 years. He was a graduate of Hudson High School in Florida. 

Russell was a self employed contractor and master carpenter.

He enjoyed dancing, writing and reading poetry and being in the outdoors; snow boarding, surfing, and fishing. He loved every moment spent with his family and friends. .    

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his siblings, Aaron I. (Rachel) LaPort III, Petersburgh, Randall Christopher Speanburg, Petersburgh, and Jessica Marie Speanburg: and his niece, Calysta Mary Carmen LaPort and nephews, Elijah Pierremont, Aaron and Nolan LaPort and several additional nieces and nephews; two aunts, Karen Albanese and Erin Harris; an uncle Jerry LaPort and a late uncle, Daniel LaPort.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 4 - 6PM prior to the Memorial Service at 6pm.
