Wesley M. Allen, 89

North Greenbush - Wesley M. Allen, 89, of Hidley Road died Tuesday, October 30, 2012, after a brief illness.

Born in North Greenbush, he was son of the late Harrison Allen and Myrtle B. Hidley Allen and husband of the late Jennie Radley Allen. He had resided in North Greenbush all his life and attended Averill Park schools.

Wes was a dairy farmer on his family farm and later worked as a well driller for Earl Shortsleeves.

He was a member of the First Reformed Church of Wynantskill.

Survivors include a niece, Gale (Theodore) French, East Greenbush; three nephews, Art (Cheryl) Cipperley, East Greenbush, Ken (Linda) Cipperley, North Carolina and John (Beth) Cipperley, Pittstown and several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Cipperley.

Relatives and friends may call at the First Reformed Church of Wynantskill Church Street and Main Avenue Wynantskill on Saturday from 10-11AM with a service to follow at 11AM with Rev. Barbara Morgan, officiating.

Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery West Sand Lake.
