My deepest Condolences to the Hosgood Family. My memory of Vera is when family events were held her and I would hold long conversations together. I always looked forward to seeing her. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. God bless..

Dear Hosgood family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I remember many years ago when she had her shop on Pawling Avenue and my mother would go weekly to get her hair done by "Vera". My mother was Carolyn Wysocki from Spring Avenue. When I looked at your mother's video tribute, I saw pictures of her that were exactly as I remember her. I always thought your mother was very young when she took care of my mother. Then I realize they were born in the same year--1926. They are probably talking up a storm now with all of your mother's customers. You and your families will have a special remembrance in my prayers. Sister Anne Stephen
