Troy - Thomas L. MacCue, 71, of Oakwood Avenue died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Francis E. MacCue and Marguerite King Kulick. He was also the husband of Michele Cook MacCue and together they recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Mr. MacCue, a lifelong resident of Troy, served eight years in the National Guard. He was a warehouseman at Sysco Foods in Halfmoon for 35 years, retiring in 2006.
He was a member of the New York State Teamsters Local No. 294. He enjoyed country dancing, camping at Sacandaga Lake and was an avid bird lover who enjoyed feeding them.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his children, Kelly (Kevin) Post, Averill Park; Coleen (Greg) Landry, NH; Scott (Linnie) MacCue, Colonie; Brian (Jess) MacCue, Albany; Sandra (Jay) Tullish, MA; and Shannon (Paul) Kavanaugh, Glens Falls; a brother, Timothy (Sandy) MacCue, Schaghticoke; his grandchildren, Aidan, Taylor, Ethan, Jamie, Nathan, Justin and Ryan and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Francis MacCue.
Relatives and friends may call at Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Ave., Troy on Monday, Dec. 12 from 4-7 pm.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor John Westfall, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Troy.
