Thomas Carlton Kelley

Schodack Landing - Thomas Carlton Kelley, 67, of  Duck Pond Road died Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Albany Medical Center Hospital.

Born in Albany, he was son of the late Harry Carlton Kelley and Julia Swinburne Kelley. Tom was raised and resided in Albany, in Troy and in Schodack Landing for the past 3 years. He was a graduate of  Bethlehem Central High School. 

Thomas was a supervisor for the carpenter shop in the Wadsworth Center Laboratories  for the New York State Health Department for 25years retiring in 2012.  

He was a member of the Carpenters Local #117 and completed the Apprentice program, was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a former Boy Scout Troop Leader. Tom was an avid classic car and truck collector and restorer. He also enjoyed his boat.

Survivors include his former wife, Luella (Steele) Kelley of Troy; his son,  Thomas C.  (Christa) Kelley, Wynantskill; his daughter Jennifer Kelley (Eugene) Bielawa, Wynantskill; his siblings, Patricia (Michael) Byron, Albany, Richard (Sandra) Kelley, Albany and  Shannon (Joseph) Borowiec, Glenmont; his grandchildren, Jaden Grignon, Kristen Campbell, Kennedy Kelley, Jack Kelley and Nick and Genna Martone and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Kelley Downey.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Friday from 4 - 7 PM.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11 AM at the funeral home and at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Interment will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery Glenmont.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Thomas Carlton Kelley to the Sacred Heart Church 310 Spring Avenue Troy, NY 12180.
