Thomas F. Caulfield, 76

Averill Park - Thomas F. Caulfield, 76,of Edgewood Drive, died Sunday, April 8, 2007 at Eddy - Ford Nursing Home in Cohoes after a brief illness.

Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Thomas Caulfield Sr. and Helen (Hayden) Caulfield and husband for 56 years of Mary A. Zayacheck Caulfield.

He was raised in Troy and resided the past 47 years in Averill Park and was educated at Troy schools.

Mr. Caulfield owned and operated Albany Marine Supply in Menands from 1967-1997, which is now operated by his son Thomas. Prior to that, he operated, with his father, Caulfield's Dairy for 25 years.

He was active in the West Sand Lake Fire Company and Sand Lake Ambulance and a communicant of St. Henry's Church in Averill Park.

Survivors in addition to his wife include three sons, Thomas F. Caulfield and wife (Kathleen A.) of Duanesburg, William J. Caulfield of West Sand Lake and Michael J. Caulfield and wife (Leslie) of Windsor, CA.; and a daughter, Mary Ann Caulfield -Ralston and husband (David D.) of Toronto, Canada; seven grandchildren, Mark Thomas, Jason William, Dustin Michael, Ross Thomas, Jesse Vincent, Lucas and Mia, 2 great grandchildren Austin and McKenzie, a sister, Ann Marie McCann and husband (Arnold) of Troy, a brother, James Caulfield of Troy; his faithful companion and dog, Dolly and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 9 AM at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 4392 Route150 West Sand Lake and at 9:30 AM at St. Henry's Church Old Route 66 Averill Park where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Provost, Pastor.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 4-8 PM.
