Stanley A. Lapenna, 49

Troy - Stanley A. Lapenna, 49,of Project Road, died Friday, August 17, 2007 at his residence.

Born in New York City, he was the son of Margie Lapenna of New York City and the late Francis Lapenna and husband for 13 years of Hilda DelRios Lapenna.

He was raised in New York City and had resided in Troy since 1998.

Mr. Lapenna was a self employed contractor in New York City and worked for 5 years at WalMart in East Greenbush.

He was a poll watcher for elections and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Troy.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include three children, Olivia White, Joanamarie Riviera and Nunzio Romano; two brothers, John and Joseph Lapenna and six grandchildren, Robert, Lily, Jocelyn, Kayla, Lilah and Michael.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 9:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9pm.
