Shirley A. Frost Gilrein, 77

Averill Park Shirley A. Frost Gilrein, 77,of Eastview Road, died Thursday, May 19, 2005 at Albany Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Worcester, MA, she was the daughter of the late John Frost and Maria (Rosenholm) Frost.

She was a longtime resident of Averill Park and was a graduate of Worcester High School of Commerce in Worcester, MA class of 1946.

Mrs. Gilrein worked in the accounts payable department of C.D. Perry & Son in Troy for 18 years, retiring in 1997.

She was a communicant of St. Henry's Church in Averill Park and a Prayer Group Greeter at the church and was an active volunteer in many support groups and in community service.

Survivors include three sons, John Gilrein of Syracuse, Timothy Gilrein of Grass Valley, CA. and Daniel Gilrein of Riverhead, NY; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Edna Couchon and a brother, Paul Frost.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, May 23, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the St. Henry's Church Old Route 66 in Averill Park. Relatives and friends may call at St. Henry's Church Old Route 66 in Averill Park on Sunday from 3- 6 PM. Interment St. Henry's Cemetery in Averill Park.
