Sarah Jane Wagner

Sarah Jane Wagner, 81 Brunswick Sarah Jane Holland Wagner, 81, of McChesney Avenue Extension, died Tuesday at Samaritan Hospital Troy, after a brief illness. Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Edward Richard and Martha Eaton Holland and wife of late Clarence Joseph Wagner. She had resided in the Troy area all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School. Mrs. Wagner retired from Quality Food Management in Troy after 15 years. She was a member of the Brunswick Seniors. Survivors include a daughter Shirley Ann Horton and husband Dennis of Melrose; two sons Joseph Edward Wagner of Melrose and William Francis Wagner and wife Kimberly of Center Brunswick; a sister-in-law E. Mary Wagner of Glens Falls; eight grandchildren James Horton, Deborah Merrow, Patty Crandall, Scott Horton, Thomas Wagner, Tammie Byrd, Jocelyn Wagner and Christopher Wagner and ten great-grandchildren Jennifer, Kelsey, Jeffrey, Ashley, Frankie, Carly, Justin, Zachary, Cassandra and Alexis. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00am from the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. corner of Pawling at Maple Avenue Troy with Rev. Richard A. Scheu, Pastor of the Prince of Peace Lutheran, officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8pm. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery in Troy.
