San Pusatere

Poestenkill - San Pusatere, 54, of Oak Hill Road died Saturday, April 23, 2016, at his residence peacefully in his sleep.

Born in Fort Bragg, NC, he was son of Salvatore Pusatere of Catskill and the late Betty Jean  Freeman Pusatere and husband of Danielle Miglucci Pusatere. He had resided in Poestenkill most of his life. 

San was an auto body specialist and mechanic working for many of the local body shops.

San loved working on cars and enjoyed participating in demolition derbies especially during the Schaghticoke Fair. He was a Medic in the United States Army Reserves during the Lebanon, Grenada Era. San also shared his love of animals with his wife and their American Eskimo pups.

Survivors in addition to his father and wife, include his first wife, Gabrielle Hewitt and their boys,  Anthony Paul and James Robert Pusatere both of Troy; his grandsons, Anthony Pusatere Jr. and Scott Pusatere; and his half-sister, Katelyn Mary Opdyke

Memorial and reception to be held at the American Legion Post #1489 111 Main Street Wynantskill on Sunday, May 1st, 2016 from 2-6PM.
