Samuel Palubniak , 91

North Greenbush Samuel Palubniak , 91, formerly of Cropseyville died Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Van Rensselaer Manor.

Born in Grafton, he was the son of the late Andrew Palubniak and Anastasia (Smerechniak) Palubniak.

He had resided in Cropseyville most of his life and attended Grafton schools.

Mr. Palubniak was a self-employed farmer on Blue Factory Road and an excavator for Quickway Excavators in Poestenkill for 30 years retiring in 1978.

He was a member of Troy Lodge of Elks and Operating Engineers Local #106.

He is survived by a sister, Katherine Legenbauer of Watervliet and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by six sisters, Martha Holmes, Mary Palubniak, Anna P. LaBelle, Lena Rich, Sophie Abbott and Pauline Palubniak and a brother, Michael Palubniak.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00am Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 4-7pm Private interment Eagle Mills Cemetery. Contributions may be made in memory of Sam Palubniak to the American Heart Association 440 New Karner Road Albany, New York 12205 or the Arthritis Foundation 1717 Central Avenue Albany, NY 12205.
