Rose (Artinian) Foley

Troy - Rose Artinian Foley, 91, of Burdett Avenue died Saturday, January 20, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her devoted family.

Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Levon Artinian and Chamiram Dilsizian Artinian and wife of the late William E.  Foley Jr. She had resided in Troy all her life and was a 1944 graduate of Troy High School. 

Rose was a bookkeeper for Montgomery Ward in Menands for 13 years, before becoming a devoted wife and mother to her family.

She was a faithful parishioner of St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church in Watervliet and a member of ACYOA, Women's Guild, Choir and seniors groups of the church.    

Survivors include her children, Karen E. (Jeffrey) Kulas, Freehold, NY, Sharon A. (Valerie) Foley, Rensselaer, Catherine M. (William) Gauthier, Latham, William L. Foley, Troy and  David M. (Denise) Foley, Troy; five grandchildren, Elisabeth, David, Anna and Rebecca Foley and Kate Kulas; a brother-in-law, James (Barbara) Foley, Guilderland; her granddog, Roxie and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Goebel..

Relatives and friends may call at St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church  100 Troy-Schenectady Road   Watervliet on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 4-7 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Friday at 10 AM at the CHURCH  with Rev. Stepanos Doudoukjian, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in  Elmwood Hill Cemetery Troy.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Rose Foley to St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church PO BOX 196 Watervliet, NY 12189.
