Troy - Robert J. Mainville Jr., 45, of Madison Avenue died Thursday, June 09, 2011, at his residence after a long illness surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Troy, he was son of Robert J. Mainville Sr. of Cohoes and Sandra Wilcox Mainville of Troy and husband for 20 years of Taralynn Lockrow Mainville. He was raised in Cohoes and lived in Troy for over 25 years. He was a graduate of Cohoes High School and attended Skidmore College.

Bob was a bus driver for CDTA since 2007.

He enjoyed NASCAR, playing poker, and telling stories with flair. He loved spending time with his family.

Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include two sons, Robert J. Mainville III and Devon L. Mainville, both of Troy, his maternal grandmother, Jean Ross, Troy; two sisters, Laurie Priddle, Cohoes and Lisa Mainville, Troy; two brothers, Richard Mainville, Cohoes and William Mainville, Colonie and many in-laws

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Sunday from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy and at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Interment will be in St. Jean's Cemetery Troy.
