Robert P. Goyer

Brunswick - Robert P. Goyer, 62, of McChesney Ave. Extension died suddenly Friday, December 14, 2018, at his residence after a long illness.

Born in Troy, he was son of Robert J. Goyer and Mary Lou Harley Goyer and husband of Tracy Baker Goyer. He had resided in Troy area all his life and was a 1974 graduate of Troy High School. 

Bob was a custodian for the Enlarged City School District of Troy for 31 years, retiring 4 years ago.   

He loved spending time with his family and granddaughters and enjoyed golfing, hunting and was a Miami Dolphins fan.    

Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include a daughter, Casey (Mike Dickinson) Goyer; three grandchildren, Alexis, Kylie and Karissa Dickinson; his siblings, Gary (Debra) Goyer, Richard (Colleen) Goyer, John (Laurel) Goyer, Nancy O’Malley and Shelly (Theodore) Johnston and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc.  276 Pawling Avenue Troy on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 4-7 PM. 

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Edward Kacerguis, officiating.

Interment will be in  St. Mary's Cemetery Troy.
